The drive was beautiful and the falls are just amazing!
There's a really nice lodge the has a restaurant, bathrooms, information center and gift shop.
This is us right when we started the 1 mile hike to the top of the falls. It took us about an hour and we scaled up over 600 vertical feet to the top. It was a difficult hike for people that are used to the flatness of Texas. But we are looking forward to coming back and doing some loner, more difficult hikes in the future!
After the hike we drove up to the ski resorts on Mt. Hood. That took a lot longer to get to, but it was really cool to see. There are some crazy ski slopes up there! Looking forward to learning how to ski this winter, on some of the bunny slopes, of course!
